Brown Club of Washington, DC
September 28 2020, 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
Want to connect with other alumnae, allies, and Brown students in DC who are also juggling work and home life during the pandemic? Looking to discuss the professional challenges facing women at this unique historical moment, in an open and relaxed setting with lovely fellow Brunonians? This is your opportunity to speak openly about the challenges you are facing and swap strategies for overcoming them, while building a supportive community.
Each month we will focus on a different topic to include a range of virtual conversations throughout the year. In September we'll tackle the balance between home and work life for women, and the statistical backslide that's transpiring in terms of gender parity already--as well as how we can support working mothers in particular during this time. Current undergraduate Pilar McDonald will start the conversation by sharing her work as co-Founder of Project Matriarchs.
Please note that all genders and gender-identifications are welcome at this table. There’s a lot going on in the world right now – so let’s work through it together.
RSVP requested, but not required, by Friday, September 25th
