Join fellow Brunonians for a pleasant morning hike around Austin's Lady Bird Lake (a.k.a. Town Lake)!
We will meet at Shoal Beach, across Cesar Chavez St from the Austin Central Library (look out for the Brown flag!), and then head out west crossing at Pfluger Bridge to make a counter-clockwise loop around the lake. The total length we will aim to walk is around 7 mi over the course of three hours. We'll end for lunch at Torchy's on San Antonio St. at 1PM, near our starting point. There is a bus stop near our meeting location with many connections across town; however, if you cannot take public transit, note that street parking is free on Sundays in downtown Austin.
