Back by popular demand: A fun morning with Trees Atlanta.
Join your fellow Brown alumni as we volunteer with Trees Atlanta to plant 47 street trees in the Bankhead neighborhood.
These trees will provide cleaner air, cool shade, and all around improved habitat for humans and wildlife. We’ll get dirty digging holes with shovels and mattocks, untangling roots with our hands, mulching, and watering.
Friends and family of all ages welcome! No pets.
After the event, you’re invited to join us as we grab a much-deserved lunch nearby (La Fonda Cantina, 1025 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318).
Can I bring kids?
Yes. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Age 16 & 17 can attend without a parent/legal guardian present with signed waiver.
All volunteers must agree to the Trees Atlanta waiver to participate.
