The Brown Club of Charlotte is delighted to announce its next event: The Mint Museum Uptown’s exhibit of “Fashion Reimagined,” Wednesday, March 29th at 6:00 p.m. This is a rare opportunity to see and understand the history of women’s and men’s attire from 1760 to 2022. Additional exhibit information is available at: https://www.mintmuseum.org/exhibition/fashion-reimagined-themes-variations-1760-now/

The museum is free to all on Wednesday evenings. Consequently, there is no charge for this event. But we request that you RSVP to the Treasurer Roger Sherman at rhshermannj@gmail.com by March 1st and send a deposit of $10/per party by the same date to the address provided below (e.g., $10 deposit for one person, $10 for a couple, $10 for three or more individuals). The $10 deposit will be refunded on Wednesday, March 29th at the Museum only. Sorry but no refunds can be provided at any other times or locations. The Museum will be providing a docent(s) to those attending the exhibit IF the club can ensure a sufficient turnout. We are requesting the deposit as a good faith commitment to attend. All Brown alumni, family, and friends, and parents of current students are invited. Please write all checks to The Brown Club of Charlotte and mail them to:

The Brown Club of Charlotte     11208 Baltusrol Drive       Fort Mill, SC 29707

Following our tour of the fashions displayed, those who wish to do so will gather for drinks and/or a meal at a nearby restaurant for discussion and socialization. In your RSVP email to the Treasurer please indicate whether you will be attending the post-exhibit get-together and how many individuals in your party will be dining and/or socializing.

The Museum Uptown provides a $10 maximum validation to visitors for parking in the Levine Center for the Arts garage located on Brooklyn Village Avenue between Tryon and Church Streets. You enter at 130 West Brooklyn Village Avenue.

We hope that you will join us for this unique evening of arts education and socializing.
