Join us for a Walking Tour of Brown's exciting new architecture from the ground up, along with selected adaptive re-use interiors.
The Tour is led by Craig Barton, University Architect and Professor of the Practice in Architecture, History of Art and Architecture. Craig works with senior leadership and Corporation members to provide strategic design direction for the overall campus plan as well as oversight for the development of the university’s design guidelines, architect selection, and project design review. An emeritus Fellow of the Corporation, he previously served as chair of the Committee on Facilities and Campus Planning.
Craig will co-host the tour with Lichen Grewer, Director of Planning at Brown University.
A wine and cheese reception will follow the tour in the Multipurpose Room (195) of the Wellness Center.
Don't miss the exceptional Wall Drawing #436: Asymmetrical pyramid with color ink washes superimposed by Sol LeWitt (1928-2007), Courtesy of the LeWitt Collection, installed in the Center through 2025.
Tour group gathers at the Wellness Center.
