Hello to all Brown alumni in Utah!
Please come join the Brown Club of Utah for a summer picnic at the Jordanelle Reservoir.
The main event will be a Potluck picnic lunch from 12-3pm on Saturday August 12th. Please bring an appetizer, a meal or a dessert of your choice to share. Please bring some beverages to share as well. Don't forget to bring a chair, and consider bringing a bathing suit and towel.
For anyone interested in Kayaking or Stand-up Paddling beforehand, David Geffen '86 will lead a 90-120 minute tour on the Reservoir starting at 930am. Rental equipment is available for a fee with an advanced reservation. Email David for details.
If someone is interested in leading a hike around the Reservoir before the picnic, please let us know and we will let everyone know.
The only cost associated with this event is the entry fee into the Jordanelle State Park ($20 per car if you don't have a Utah Parks Pass). Carpooling is encouraged. We will be meeting at Cabanas 2 and 3 which are on the beach. Spouses, significant others and children are welcome.
