Our second annual apple-picking event is here (October 8 @ noon)! This year we've selected the charming Doc Waters Orchard & Cidery in Germantown, Maryland. Bonus: After moseying through the fields with fellow Brown alums (plus friends and/or family), those who'd like to linger on can either head to their cidery, or join us to partake in the famed cider donuts from next-door Butler's Orchard's farm market. (Butler's Orchard, which is owned by the same family, also has pumpking picking for those who are interested!)
Your ticket includes time at the orchard and a half-peck bag of apples, whether per individual or shared between a pair of guests. Please register accordingly. Spaces are limited so sign up today!
Waters Orchard is approximately a 45-minute drive outside Washington, DC and we will meet on site at noon. BCDC will provide carpooling options for those who want them. Email our Treasurer Corey Lipow '08 (clipow@gmail.com) after registering to coordinate.
In the event of inclement weather, we will move the event to Saturday, October 15. Please consult the BCDC event policy before signing up.
