Spring is in the air, and with cherry blossoms everywhere, come out and celebrate with an intimate performance by the Bear Necessities, Brown's premier (and only) all-suspendered, tenor-bass a cappella group!
Founded in 1992, and known for their highly-theatrical and energetic performance style, the Bear Necessities have released seven studio albums (with another on the way) and toured throughout the U.S. and abroad. Now, after two years stuck at home and on campus, they've come out of hibernation for a Northeast Spring Break Tour, with stops in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and DC.
Join us to unwind at the midpoint of the work week, relive fond memories of Old Brunonia, and enjoy a repertoire that ranges from R&B to jazz to classic rock to pop to Disney songs. Check out their latest album to get a preview! (Did we mention the suspenders!?)
We'll have the second floor of Georgetown’s City Sliders to ourselves for this intimate performance, which will be followed by a meet-and-greet with members of the company. Attendees are asked to adhere to all BCDC policies, and registration is requested by Wednesday, March 30 at 12pm. Space is limited, though, so secure your spot today!
