Warm up this January with a special, family-friendly performance by Brown's very own Chattertocks! For the first time since 2020, the collective of chanteuses is hitting the road for winter break, with a tour stop here in the nation's capital.
Est. in 1952 at Pembroke College as a parody of the all-male Jabberwocks, the Chattertocks are now among the oldest all-female a capella groups in the nation. With a wide-ranging repertoire, spirited delivery, and enviable pipes, they've long been a treasured part of Brunonian campus life.
In a private room at the National Press Building, we'll be treated to an intimate, chamber-style performance (including their signature rendition of alumnae song "My Funny Valentine"). There will be time for mingling with the singers and fellow guests over light fare and non-alcoholic beverages.
Alums and non-alums of all ages are warmly welcomed, but space is highly limited! Kids aged 9 and under are FREE. Attendees are asked to adhere to all BCDC event policies.
