After five riveting programs, the inaugural One Bear | One Book series is winding down with the 2nd edition of Brown's landmark Slavery & Justice Report! We've partnered with Brown's Center for the Study of Slavery & Justice (CSSJ), as well as the CSSJ Friends and the Inman Page Black Alumni Council (IPC), for this extra-special hybrid program.

The main event will take place via Zoom, and will be moderated by Professor James T. Campbell, who chaired the Committee on Slavery & Justice. It will feature contributions from civil rights attorney and Alliance for Justice president Rakim Brooks '09, former CSSJ fellow Sydney Smith '22, and CSSJ/Watson Institute post-doctoral research associate Marcelo Ferraro.

Our salon-style gathering, which will take place at the Brown in Washington program's space at the National Press Building, is open to the first 20 registrants. We'll watch the Zoom discussion together, and continue the conversation after the virtual program closes. Light food and drink will be served.

**Note: The virtual event will begin @ 7:30 PM EST. We ask that guests attending the BCDC in-person gathering arrive circa 6:30 PM to settle in and mingle, and begin to talk. We'll continue our chat after the broadcast closes.**

Given limited capacity, please reserve your seats soon. All Brown alums, friends, and family are warmly welcomed. This event is FREE for dues-paying BCDC members, as well as current Brown students spending the semester in DC. Registration will close at noon on April 9th or when we reach capacity. All guests are expected to abide by all BCDC event policies.
