Join us at a reception at the Virtual Environment Navigation Lab (VENLab), a large immersive virtual environment where theories of perception and action are explored. You will meet with graduate students and learn about the research that is being done in navigation and locomotion and take a tour of the lab. During the tour, half the participants will be fitted with an Oculus Rift Head Mounted Diplay attached to a wearable computer backpack to navigate the 168-square meter VEN Lab, while the other half will watch the display on screen. Please sign up if you prefer to “wear” the equipement or “watch” the demonstration.
