Festival Ballet Providence has postponed their Up Close on Hope Black Box performances for March 27 through April 5. New dates will be announced when conditions permit later in this year/season.
If you would like to transfer your already reserved and paid ticket to the new date, just let us know. We will advise you as soon as a new date is established and your ticket will be honored. If, on the other hand you prefer a refund, please let us know that. The Alumni Office will be issuing refunds. While the system is not able to send a confirmation email for this, the refund will appear on your statement within the next two billing cycles.

Festival Ballet Providence's acclaimed Up Close on Hope once again presents a variety of works in the intimacy of its 85 seat Black Box Theater. Because of the theater's intimate size, the small audience has the rare opportunity to view dancers so closely, that the experience has been described as "you-can-hear-them-breathe-intimacy". It is thrilling, exciting and...Up Close! The series' popularity usually means sold-out performances.
This mixed repertory program includes a wide range of choreography from established and emerging choreographers. It’s a dance experience unlike any other with a perspective and impact that continues to thrill audiences each season!
The performance features an intermission reception with complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants. Members of the company, and Artistic Director Mihailo Djuric usually join the patrons during the intermission to discuss the performance.
Price includes: Up Close performance, intermission wine and light snacks from local, partnering restaurants
